Busy busy!

As I get further along in this pregnancy, I feel like I am more tired and have less time to things that I'd like to. (I use the internet at my in-laws house so I don't have a lot of time to do it!) Everything is going great for us. Adalee had her 1st birthday on the 11th of Oct. We went to the fair for it and then had a family birthday party the following day with Nolan's relatives. She is growing so fast. Recently her favorite thing to do is sit in a corner with a book and read it to herself. She has her own little language. I have about a month left until Breanna Kathrine will be here. We are very excited! It will be a special Christmas. I will miss going back to WA though, but what can you do... Well, we love you all!

After Tropical Storm Fay...

Well, we are surviving FAY, but there are others in our ward who weren't so lucky. We ended up getting 27 inches of rain in our area. There are lots of new ponds everywhere. Roads were closed up until yesterday, (a few still are) most everywhere had power out from a few hours to a few days. Ours was out from Friday afternoon until Saturday afternoon so we stayed at Nolan's parents house who had it on at least all night. Church was different than normal, but good. After the sacrament, bishop had it be an open discussion about who wasn't there and people that had had problems from everything or needed help. The men were sent in groups to go out and help. Most had trees down in yards, on houses, in their driveways, but one member ended up having four feet of water in his house. The roads were the same. Nolan and his dad and others in the ward went to go help them out and had to get down their road to the house in boats. A little scary, but no one was hurt. We are grateful for the rain, but even more so that we are safe. One good thing did happen, when we went back to our house on Sat., we were watching the storm from an open door (we needed some kind of ventilation with the power out) and Adalee randomly took three steps. Today she took four on her own. She likes to do it on her own and not being forced to! She is so funny!

More Pictures!

Showing off new boots from her cousin!
Cheesy Smile! Too bad this was before the teeth came in cause now she shows her two teeth proudly!
Family picture we took on our vacation out west at the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. There is a huge waterfall there that can be seen in the backround. It was beautiful!

Standing on her own now

Nolan's mom had this giraffe floaty for the pool in the closet. Adalee loves it!

Cute Girl!

Adalee loves to go across the street to her great-grandma King's house and go swimming!

Nolan's dad loves to hunt and has only boys, so when he saw this camo onsie he just had to get it for her!

This is the normal eating position for her. She likes to have one foot up!

This is about the only time she is still, she loves her naps and sleep time just like mommy!

Ahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This shows just a little of Adalee's character! She is so fun!

A long time...

Well, we have been on vacation for the past few weeks so that will be my excuse for not having put up new things on here...We went to Panama City Beach in Florida off the gulf with Nolan's family and then also out west to Utah and Idaho. We had a lot of fun seeing so much family. I was teased quite a bit about having a southern accent or something, haha I don't know about that! It's always hard to say good-bye especially when I know we won't get to see them this Christmas. (I will be having our second girl at that time.) Adalee is doing great. She has two teeth on the bottom that are about half way through that she loves to show me by chomping on my finger. Her hair is growing, but at a slower speed and very blonde. She is standing on her own now and will take a step or two but then she gets so excited and falls. Nolan is doing well and I have loved having him just home and working this summer. He'll start again at Valdosta State University on the 18th. We are doing great here in Georgia and want everyone to know how much we love you and are grateful for family!
